General File Preparation Guidelines:

For ideal print results, download file guides in this folder. Remove any hidden layers not intended for print to ensure clean outcomes.

Submit all files (including multi-page projects) as a single PDF with uniform size. Review the File Orientation Guides for correct positioning. Avoid borders in your designs, as natural trimming variations may make them appear off-center.

Include a 1/8" bleed on every file, and keep critical text and artwork comfortably within the safety margin. Using a larger safety zone prevents important elements from being cut off during production.

Set your PDF to high resolution with all images in CMYK color mode at 300 DPI. For black text, use C0, M0, Y0, K100. For larger black areas, apply C30, M20, Y20, K100 for richer results. For small text, use K100 only to avoid registration misalignments. Always embed or outline your fonts. Submit in CMYK color unless otherwise required.

Thin White Text on Rich Black Backgrounds:

When using thin white text on a black background, use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for the black. Avoid heavier builds to minimize color shifting. Make white knockout text slightly thicker and consider swelling (enlarging knockout areas) for maximum clarity in print. Recommended minimum line weight is 0.75pt, and minimum font size is 8pt.
