General File Prep:

Ensure the following to avoid delays or unexpected print results.

1. Supply fonts larger than 8pt.
2. Use sans serif fonts.
3. Avoid artwork underneath the foil areas.
4. Avoid heavy foil coverage with fine text.
5. CAUTION: Leave at least a 5mm foil-free area around edges. Full bleed files receive a 5mm gap to prevent peeling.
6. Add Space Between Letters. Increase tracking by +20 to +50 for small text.
7. Choose the Right Font. Use regular or medium weights. Keep text at least 7–8 pt.
8. Reduce Thick Letter Shapes. Add a thin stroke inside letters matching the background. This prevents letters from filling in.
9. Allow for Foil Spread. Keep spaces between shapes no thinner than 0.3–0.5 pt.

Ensure the file matches required dimensions. Artwork must be CMYK 300 dpi with 1/16 inch bleeds on all sides.

Separate artwork into two files. One foil file must be 100% black; the other must be CMYK for non-foil artwork. Export as PDF.
