Choose Black and White or Color Printing to suit your style. Each card is made from 16 pt 95 Bright C2S stock or can be upgraded to a thicker 18 pt with double-sided lamination. The result is a resilient card with an ultra-smooth, gloss finish and an unmistakably premium feel. Rounded corners (1/4" radius) are available for a modern touch. General File Preparation Guidelines:

Download helpful guides in this folder to ensure your cards print perfectly. Always remove any hidden layers not meant for print, such as setup guides or artwork, to avoid them appearing on the final cards.

Submit every business card order as a single PDF, even if your project includes multiple pages. All pages should be the same size for optimal results.

Files must be properly oriented for correct backing. Check the File Orientation Guides in the product images to minimize errors. Gloss finish business cards offer consistent quality when files are set up accurately.

Avoid placing borders too close to the trim edge. Slight shifts during trimming can make designs appear off-center. Include a 1/8" bleed and keep important text and images inside the safety margin. Provide enough space to prevent trimming any crucial elements.

Use high-resolution files. All images should be in CMYK color mode at 300 DPI for sharp, color-accurate printing. This ensures your high gloss card artwork is reproduced vividly.

For black text, use C0, M0, Y0, K100. For larger black areas, use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for a rich, balanced look.

Apply single-color black (K100) to small black text for the best registration. Be sure to embed or outline all fonts in your file. We recommend CMYK color mode for reliable results. Use RGB or PMS only if specifically required for your cards’ design. Print professionals trust these settings for consistent results across all gloss finish business cards.

Thin White Text on Rich Black Backgrounds:

Our strict print standards minimize, but don’t eliminate, minor shifts. Thin or small white text on dark backgrounds can experience color bleed or loss of clarity. Use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for dark backgrounds—avoiding heavier CMYK builds—and increase the thickness of knockout text. Set a minimum line weight of 0.75pt and use at least 8pt font size. Enlarge knockout areas slightly to secure sharpness despite minor ink spread.
