Submit each job as a single PDF file—even for multi-page projects—and ensure all pages match in size. Files must be oriented correctly for proper backing. Before uploading, review the File Orientation Guides found in the product images.

For design, avoid borders too close to the trim edge. Slight trimming shifts might make the edges appear uneven. Add a 1/8" bleed to your files and keep essential text and artwork inside the safety margin. A larger safety margin protects key details from accidental cuts.

Whether you’re considering standard options or comparing to vistaprint linen business cards, ensure your PDF is high resolution and all images are in CMYK mode at 300 DPI. For black text, use C0, M0, Y0, K100. For deep black areas, use C30, M20, Y20, K100 rather than K100 alone, which can appear gray. Supporting CMY colors create a richer finish. The linen finish naturally complements business branding, and the cardstock has a quality feel that helps your cards stand out from competitors.

For small black text, use single-color black (K100) to avoid registration problems. Make sure all fonts are embedded or outlined. Submit files in CMYK color mode unless your specific product requires RGB or PMS colors.

Minor color shifts during printing can affect thin or small white text against a rich black background. Use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for the background to reduce bleed and avoid heavy CMYK builds like C60, M60, Y60, K100, which may cause color shifting.

To maximize legibility, thicken white knockout text and slightly enlarge knockout areas. Follow the minimum recommendations: line weight of 0.75pt and font size of at least 8pt.
