For best trim results, avoid borders in your card design. Borders placed too close to the trim edge can look uneven after cutting. Files must include a 1/8" bleed. Keep important text and graphics within the safety margin to prevent accidental trimming—more margin is recommended for critical details.

Ensure your PDF is high resolution. All images should be in CMYK color mode at 300 DPI to meet print standards.

For sharp black text, use C0, M0, Y0, K100. For large black areas, use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for a deep, rich tone. This technique ensures solid black coverage on your enviro cards. For small black text, stick with K100 to avoid registration issues.

Minor shifts can occur during printing, especially for small white text on rich black backgrounds. To reduce risks like color bleeding or legibility loss:

Use C30, M20, Y20, K100 for backgrounds to minimize oversaturation and registration problems. Avoid heavier CMYK builds such as C60, M60, Y60, K100, which can increase color shifting. Make white knockout text thicker to prevent it filling in or blurring during printing.

Minimum line weight: 0.75pt
Minimum font size: 8pt

Apply slight swelling to knockout areas; increasing white text size preserves sharpness in the final result.
