Laminated business cards are ideal whether you operate a sole proprietorship or run a growing company—choose quantities from 100 to 5,000 cards. These cards help put your business front and center in any networking scenario.

Laminated business cards: Premium durability and style for any business

Choose black and white or full color printing. Each card features 16 pt 95 Bright C2S stock, upgraded to a sturdy 18 pt thickness with double-sided lamination. This creates a silky, matte finish that enhances durability and feel. Optional rounded corners with a 1/4" radius add a modern touch to your business cards.

Always delete hidden layers, such as setup guides or unused artwork, so they don’t print by accident.

Submit each business card design—single or multi-page—as one PDF file, making sure all pages are the same size.

Confirm file orientation matches our product backing guides. Review image references to prevent errors. Avoid placing borders too close to the trim edge, as small cutting shifts might make them look uneven.

Every file must include a 1/8" bleed. Keep all important text and elements safely inside the margin. A larger margin is better and reduces the risk of trimming key info. Use high-resolution PDFs and ensure images are in CMYK at 300 DPI.

For crisp text, use C0, M0, Y0, K100 for black. For deep, rich black backgrounds, use C30, M20, Y20, K100—this formula improves visual depth and avoids overprint issues. Reserve K100 only for smaller text to prevent misalignment. All fonts must be embedded or outlined before submitting your design.

Submit artwork in CMYK mode only, unless indicated otherwise. This ensures precise color for your cards and business branding.

Thin White Text on Rich Black Backgrounds:

Minor shifts can occur during printing. If using thin white text reversed out of rich black, increase the letter thickness. Use the C30, M20, Y20, K100 build, not heavier formulas, to prevent color shifting.

Expand knockout areas slightly (apply swelling) for sharper, clearer results after lamination. Recommended minimums: lines at 0.75pt and fonts at 8pt to maintain easy reading for your business information.
