Evolis Zenius Ribbons & Supplies
Genuine Evolis ribbons for the Zenius single-sided ID card printer — YMCKO color, half-panel, black with overlay, monochrome colors, metallics, scratch-off and holographic varnish.
Zenius ribbons use the RCT0xxNAA and R5F0xx part-number range. They are shared with the Evolis Primacy (first generation) but are not compatible with Primacy 2 or Badgy consumables.

- Which ribbon does the Evolis Zenius use?
- The standard Zenius ribbon is the YMCKO color ribbon R5F002AAA for full-color single-sided cards. For text-only badges use the black monochrome RCT023NAA, and for sealed monochrome printing use the black-with-overlay R2F010NAA.
- Are Zenius and Primacy 2 ribbons interchangeable?
- No. Zenius ribbons use the RCT0xxNAA / R5F0xx range and will not run in a Primacy 2, which uses its own R5F2xx and RCT2xx ribbons. Check the part number before ordering.
- Can the Zenius print dual-sided cards?
- The Zenius is a single-sided printer. To print both sides you either flip the card and run it twice, or move to a dual-sided model such as the Primacy 2 Duplex.
- Which cleaning supplies does a Zenius take?
- The Evolis ACL cleaning kits cover the Zenius: ACL001 adhesive cards and swabs at each ribbon change, ACL003 for the cleaning rollers, ACL004 'T' cards for the card path and ACL005 pens for the printhead.
- What cards should I run through a Zenius?
- Graphics-quality blank CR80 PVC at 30 mil (0.76 mm). Thinner 10 and 20 mil stock is best kept for inserts rather than printed badges.
