Evolis Zenius ID Card Printers
The Evolis Zenius is a single-sided ID card printer built for steady everyday badge printing at reception desks, schools and workplaces — compact, quiet and simple to run.
Zenius printers take the R5F002AAA YMCKO color ribbon and the RCT0xx monochrome range. We stock those ribbons, blank CR80 PVC cards and ACL cleaning kits alongside the printer, with full manufacturer warranty from an authorized Evolis reseller.

Frequently asked questions
- Can the Zenius print both sides of a card?
- No, the Zenius is single-sided. You can flip a card and run it twice, but if backs are routine, the Primacy 2 Duplex prints both sides automatically.
- Which ribbon does the Zenius use?
- The standard is the YMCKO color ribbon R5F002AAA. For text-only badges use the black monochrome RCT023NAA, or the black-with-overlay R2F010NAA for sealed monochrome cards.
- Are Zenius ribbons the same as Primacy 2 ribbons?
- No. Zenius uses the R5F0xx / RCT0xx range, which will not run in a Primacy 2. Check the part number before ordering.
- What cards should I use?
- Graphics-quality blank CR80 PVC at 30 mil (0.76 mm), the standard badge thickness.
